Welcome to H. Tebb & Son. Established family of furniture Restorers and Retailers who manufacture and supply high quality furniture. Based in St. Helen's, we have gained a reputation for high quality products.

We are also very proud of the companies history and heritage which we have included in this section about us.

	Business began in 1946 after the end of World War 2 by Mr. Hubert Tebb. He had a love and was very passionate about the history and origins of furniture.   Hubert realised that furniture played an important role within the ambience of a home.   Business grew from strength to strength with French Polishing and Upholstery services quickly establishing an excellent reputation.

John Tebb joined the firm after leaving school in 1962. Past commissions include work for Lady Pilkington and Lord Derby. In 2001 Bryan Hayes joined the partnership and together they have assembled a team of highly skilled craftsmen looking after all aspects of furniture restoration and upholstery.     In the picture (right) Ken Dodd visits the Corporation Street premise's in 1979 to help with a spot of dusting.

In 1986 the third generation of the Tebb Family joined the business-specialising in the field of Upholstery. Richard takes great pride in his work, deep buttoning, traditional upholstery & modern upholstery including lounge suites.
